President Reagan appealed for support of his Lebanon policy during a blunt exchange with Congressional leaders Wednesday. Reagan sought bipartisan backing for the continued presence of U.S. troops in Beirut until a diplomatic solution for the Lebanon crisis is found, the White House said.
