President Yitzhak Navon hosted 500 diaspora youth at the Presidential residence here and urged them to learn Hebrew to feel more a part of the Jewish people. The youngsters, taking part in the World Zionist Organization’s “summer projects,” come from the U.S., England, France, Mexico and an unnamed Maslem country. Over 15,000 youths are taking part in a variety of activities, including volunteer work in development towns, studying Hebrew, touring, and attending seminars.
