Presidential candidate Sen. Joseph Lieberman (D-Conn.) said gay rights should be extended. Speaking to hundreds of Reform Jewish leaders on Capitol Hill on Monday, the senator said he would push legislation to give gay and lesbian partners of federal employees the same benefits provided to heterosexual spouses.
