The Princess Hotel in Bermuda, operated by L. A. Tworoger Company, has sent a circular letter to all tourist agents informing them that Jews are not accepted as guests at the Hotel, according to information received by the American Jewish Congress.
The Princess Hotel asks the agents to note carefully that it is the “policy” of this hotel to “avoid the patronage of Hebrews and all persons not socially accepted”.
Tourist agents are further requested to “cooperate with” the Princess Hotel “in this respect both for the satisfaction of your clients and the support of our stand. This is a consideration of much importance to our regular patrons.”
The Committee on Economic Problems of the American Jewish Congress has taken this matter under advisement.
