Prof, David Katz, world famed psychologist, died here today at the age of 69. Born in Kassel, Germany, he studied at the University of Goettingen where he received his first academic appointment at the Institute of Psychology when he was 23.
Subsequently, he held professorships in psychology at universities in Rostock, Manchester, London and Stockholm. He was in close contact with psychologists and other scientists in Israel and contributed a number of books from his private collection to the Hebrew University.
