Prof. Eliezer Rieger, director general of the Ministry of Education, died here at 58. He was one of the top educators in Israel and the author of numerous books on education. His latest book “Modern Hebrew” was published here only two weeks ago. He was principal of the Hebrew University’s experimental secondary school for many years.
