Professor Hugo Valentin, prominent Swedish educator and author and a leading Zionist, died here last night just before he was scheduled to take part in a radio program featuring a discussion of Israel and the Arabs. He was 74 years of age. An honorary president and former chairman of the Swedish Zionist Federation, Dr. Valentin was the author of a number of books on Jewish history, anti-Semitism and Zionism.
