A testimonial dinner in honor of Professor Israel Davidson of the Jewish Theological Seminary was given by the Rabbinical Assembly of the seminary last night, not only to celebrate his sixtieth birthday, but also to commemorate his services on the faculty for twenty-five years.
Professor Davidson has translated considerable mediaeval Jewish literature.
