Progress was made in efforts to reinstate Western immigrant tax benefits that were canceled under Israel’s tax reform law. A bill that would exempt for 10 years overseas income from such things as interest and dividends passed in a preliminary Knesset vote Monday, the Jerusalem Post reported.
