The property of Prof. Albert Einstein’s two daughters, Margot Marianoff and Elsa Kayser, has been confiscated by the Government because they were “foes of the regime,” it is announced today in the Official Gazette.
Mrs. Kayser died in France more than a year ago. Miss Marianoff, a sculptor, lives with Prof. and Mrs. Einstein in Princeton, N.J. Both are daughters of Mrs. Einstein by a previous marriage.
Prof. Einstein’s property was confiscated shortly after the Hitler regime came to power.
