THE JEWISH PEOPLES COUNCIL AGAINST FASCISM AND ANTI-SEMITISM ISSUED A DECLARATION TODAY STRONGLY PROTESTING AGAINST THE PROPOSED MARCH OF THE BRITISH UNION OF FASCISTS THROUGH LONDON’S EAST END OCT. 3. THE DECLARATION URGED THE POLICE COMMISSIONER NOT TO PERMIT THE PARADE, WHICH IT HELD AGAINST THE INTEREST OF EAST END INHABITANTS.

“FASCIST JEW-BAITING IS A SMOKE SCREEN PREPARING AN ATTACK AGAINST THE LIBERTIES OF ALL THE PEOPLE, AND RACIAL INCITEMENT IS A MATTER OF THE DEEPEST CONCERN TO ALL,” THE COUNCIL SAID.
