The state prosecutor has decided not to appeal the verdict by a Jerusalem district court committing Denis Michael William Rohan to a mental hospital for burning the El Aksa mosque in East Jerusalem last Aug. 21. The court ruled last Tuesday that the 28 year-old Australian sheepherder was legally insane and therefore not punishable under Israeli law.
