The compulsory organization for traveling salesmen and produce brokers which the German government of Fuehrer Hitler intends to establish, will presumably have to accept Jewish members, says the Handels-Pionier.
The trade paper adds that in some quarters the view has been expressed that the voluntary organization of traveling salesmen and produce brokers is planning to admit “non-Aryans” as members again and, it is stated, numerous letters to the editor have voiced opposition to such an intention.
The Handels-Pionier declares that the exclusion of Jews is to continue as strictly as heretofore.
As to compulsory organizations, however, the publication explains that decisions as to membership are up to the government, and if an order were issued that “non-Aryans” were to be accepted, “we will have to follow, according to our National Socialist discipline, after submitting all objections.”
The paper is of the opinion that the last word is yet to be said relative to this matter and it directs attention to the anti-Semitic “commandments” of Rudolf Hess, Hitler’s deputy and “heir,” which, it says, throw new light on the problem of cooperation between Nazis and Jews.
