Rabbi Abraham Fingerhut, Leader of Algerian Jewry, Dies in Paris

Rabbi Abraham Fingerhut, a former member of the Algerian Chief Rabbinate, died here this weekend. He had been President of the Association of North Africans in France, since his resignation from his Algerian rabbinical posts due to ill health. He was a knight of the French Legion of Honor.
