Rabbi and Weather Expert to Debate on Proposal to Reform Calendar

A public debate on calendar reform involving interference with the Jewish Sabbath which may be broadcast over a network of radio stations, will be held here Tuesday evening, January 14, at the Jewish Community Center between Charles F. Marvin, Chief of the United States Weather Bureau and foremost government expert on calendar reform, and Rabbi Louis J. Schwefel of Washington who lent much assistance to the Jewish group opposing calendar reform during the hearings before the House foreign affairs committee. Members of the committee have been invited to attend.
