The appointment of Rabbi Arthur J. Lelyveld, of New York City, as national director of the B’nai B’rith Hillel Foundations was announced today by B’nai B’rith president Frank Goldman at the concluding session of a two-day meeting here of the National Hillel Commission. He succeeds Dr. Abraham L. ?char, of Los Angeles, who was elected national chairman of the Hillel Commission.
