Rabbi Jacob Krongold, of the Reformed Temple of LaFayette, Ind., has been appointed rabbi of Bethel congregation of this city, to succeed Rabbi Louis Kuppin, who recently resigned. Rabbi Kuppin resigned as a result of the young people of the temple staging a “jazz” show to which he objected strenuously and said it was something which should not be given within a temple.
