Rabbi Edward N. Calisch of this city is a member of the committee which has just been named by Governor Pollard to arrange for the Virginia Celebration of Religious Freedom on Sunday, April 13, the anniversary of the birth of Thomas Jefferson. The day will be celebrated throughout the nation, and governors in every state in the union are naming similar committees. The celebrations are being arranged under the national auspices of the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation, which will center its observance at Monticello, the home of Jefferson.
