Despite the fact that he is a noted opponent of Zionism, the Munkaczever Rebbe, Rabbi Spira, has left for a four-weeks’ visit to Palestine in order to see the new colonies for himself. Rumors that the British consul here had refused him a visa under Zionist influence were absolutely unfounded for he received his visa immediately on application.
