Rabbi, Priest Join in Services in British Church

Interdenominational intercession services have been introduced at the Old Church in Hove, near Brighton, with Liberal Rabbi Dr. Lemle acting for the Jewish denomination. commenting on the innovation, the vicar of the church stresses that the striking feature of a priest and rabbi jointly entering the church from the vestry “was a true case of the meeting of Jew and Gentile in common worship.”
