Rabbi Charles M.Rubel of Congregation Sherah Israel, Macon,Georgia,delivered the opening prayer when the U.S.Senate met today. Rabbi Rubel was invited by Senator Herman Talmadge of Georgia to pronounce the invocation.Sen.Richard Russell, also of Georgia, joined in introducing the Rabbi.
