Rabbi to Become First Jewish Faculty Member of Jesuit University

Xavier University, a Jesuit school here, announced yesterday that Rabbi Albert A. Goldman has been appointed the first Jewish faculty member of the school’s theology department.

The Rev. E.B. Brueggeman, department chairman, said Rabbi Goldman would teach an evening course on “The Intellectual Development of Judaism as found in Biblical and Rabbinical Sources. “
