Rabbinical Conference Hears Call for Establishment of World Chief Rabbinate in Israel

Rabbi Jacob Goldman, personal secretary of Israeli Chief Rabbi Dr. Isaac Herzog, last night outlined a proposal for the setting up of a central institution around the Chief Rabbinate in Jerusalem which would unify the Chief Rabbinates throughout the world. He addressed a meeting of 400 delegates attending the midwinter conference of the Orthodox Rabbinical Council of America.
