The official government organ, Gazeta Polska, today refused to publish a letter by the Agudath Horabonim, the Federation of Polish Rabbis, explaining why slaughtering in accordance with the Jewish ritual is necessary.
The letter was written by the rabbis in reply to an article which appeared in that paper against the Schechita, the Jewish ritual slaughtering.
