Anti-Semitic intolerance, cruelty and persecution are impossible in Great Britain, declared Sir Herbert Samuel yesterday at a reception tendered him here under the chairmanship of Mayor Meyer Dizengoff.

Sir Herbert, who is former High Commissioner of Palestine, is touring the country, being greeted with rousing ovations in all the colonies he visits.

A square on the seashore in this city was named after him.
