Agreement with certain views of the American Zionist opposition was expressed in a resolution adopted at the conference of the Al Ha’mishmar group, the Radical Zionists under the leadership of Deputy Isaac Gruenbaum.
The conference welcomed the American Zionist opposition “as an indication of an improvement in the attitude of American Zionists toward the extension of the Jewish Agency.”
The Al Ha’mishmar group had consistently opposed the extension of the Jewish Agency to include non-Zionists.
