Railroad service between Lod and Gaza will be re-established Nov, 1, it was announced here. One train will run daily in each direction to accommodate Gaza workers employed in southern Israel. There has been no rail service between Israel and Gaza since 1948 and the Gaza railroad station has been idle since the Six-Day War.
