Rare 1,000-year-old coins bearing the likeness of Jesus can be seen in a new exhibit at the Hebrew University. The coins were discovered last October by Hebrew University archaeologists working at the site of ancient Tiberias, south of the present-day city. The coins are believed to have been minted in the Byzantine Empire and produced between the second half of the 10th century to the second half of the 11th century.
