M. Pelletier, Prefect of the Seine District, has recommended to the Municipal Council that a street be named in honor of Dr. Theodor Herzl. He was suggested that Rue de l’Hotel de Ville, on which are located Paris municipal offices and on which Jews have been long-time residents, be chosen for the honor.
