The Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion will have a record enrollment of 830 students at its schools here and in Cincinnati during its 85th academic year opening this month, officials announced today.
The College-Institute will have 830 students, compared with 785 a year ago at its two schools, studying rabbinic. cantorial and teacher-training courses. Some 1.500 students are expected at the Los Angeles College of Jewish Studies, a teacher training and adult education center maintained by the Union of American Hebrew Congregations and the College institute, the American Reform rabbinical seminary.
