Enoch Frankfurter, Jewish business man of Darmstadt-Hesse, was sentenced to serve seven months in jail for having declared that the anti-Jewish boycott of the Nazi government had ruined his business.

“The Jews must be thankful to the government for still tolerating them,” the verdict of the court read.

Julius Streicher, arch anti-Semite and Nazi commissioner for Franconia, today delivered a four-hour speech on “Jewish Politics Against Germany,” at a Nazi party conference in Forster near Danzig, the Voelkischer Beobachter, leading Nazi paper, reported today. However, the Beobachter was careful not to quote any part of the presumably violent anti-Jewish speech made by Streicher.
