It is said that one of the causes of dissentsion between the pair is Reinhardt’s failure to give his wife, who is a prominent actress, as significant roles as she considers herself entitled to.
Mrs. Reinhardt, who is not a Jewess, is known on the stage as Madame Thumig. She is not fighting the divorce but is asking 5000 Czecho-Slovak Kronen monthly as alimony and also demands that Reinhardt support the two sons.
