Sholom Roshbo, a member of the Central Executive of the Chalutz, Palestine pioneers organization, was sentenced to two years imprisonment for his Zionist activity. He was released on the condition that he proceed to Palestine. Mr. Roshbe has been director of the commune, Mayono.

The Soviet government issued passports to two Chaluzim to proceed to Palestine. Many applicants are still awaiting their passports.
