The Soviet authorities have stopped religious education in the Jewish schools of the newly-occupied territories of Polish White Russia and the Polish Ukraine, the Havas News Agency reported today from Moscow. The teaching of Hebrew has been replaced by instruction in the Ukrainian and White Russian tongues, the dispatch said.
