Ritual murder agitation against the Jews has been renewed with the sanction of Nazi headquarters in connection with the trial now in progress of a Jew of Paderborn, Kurt Meyer, on charges of the murder of a maid servant, Martha Kaspar, employed in the home of his father.

Meyer has confessed to cutting up the body of Martha Kaspar after she died following an operation.

The Nazis, however, have transformed this confession into a ritual murder.

An official communique issued by the Nazi Party today announces that Deputy Holz, editor of the “Nuernberger Stuermer,” has been appointed to act as the official Nazi observer at the trial because it is assumed that a ritual murder was enacted.

“Der Angriff,” Berlin organ of the National Socialist party, demands the death sentence for Meyer and declares: “When thousands of German unemployed receive penny doles, it is inadmissable that a foreigner be maintained at government expense in prison or in a lunatic asylum.” The paper reports the case under the heading: “Jewish Sadistic Murder Lust. Jewish Bestiality.” to welcome four Nazi deputies who returned from Berlin following the dissolution of the Reichstag.

Chancellor Franz von Papen was likewise the target of attack. No physical assaults against the Jews took place.
