Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) said he will introduce “Ari’s Law,” a bill to stop the sale of gun kits without a background check or waiting period. The bill is named for Ari Halberstam, a young Jewish man who was shot and killed near the Brooklyn Bridge in 1994 by someone who purchased an assault weapon through the mail as a gun kit.
