The News-Chronicle reports from Amman today that a conference of 200 sheikhs issued an ultimatum to the Palestine Government to yield within ten days to Arab demands for stoppage of Jewish immigration or 60,000 Bedouins would cross the Jordan to help their Palestine coreligionists. The report quotes Emir Abdullah, ruler of the Transjordan, as saying it is becoming increasingly difficult to restrain his people.
