Reports that there are 800 Jewish children attending Christian mission schools in Palestine have prompted the Education Department of Knesseth Israel, Palestine Jewry, here to announce that there are 27652 Jewish school children in the Hebrew schools of the country under its direction, representing 3741 children more than last year.
Apart from this, other Jewish schools have 11000 pupils, bringing the total school attendances up to nearly 40000.
