Representatives of seven countries are participating in talks in Vienna about the creation of an Austrian fund for Holocaust-era slave laborers. The U.S. representative, Deputy Treasury Secretary Stuart Eizenstat, welcomed the initiative, but is also pressing Austria to settle other Holocaust-era issues, including property restitution.
