The Revisionist Zionist Party, at the close of their conference here, directed an appeal to the Jewish people to help the Revisionists “capture” the coming Zionist congress. The Revisionists are ready to take upon themselves the entire burden of Zionist leadership if the Congress will approve the main Revisionist principles, the conference announces. For this, the Congress must declare that the “Jewish National Home means a Jewish majority on both sides of the Jordan, in order that a free self-governing Jewish commonwealth may be established.”
The conference of the Revisionists was well attended. Vladimir Jabotinsky presided. There were representatives from Germany, England, Poland, Czecho-Slovakia, Austria, Bulgaria, France, Switzerland, and South Africa. Meyer Grossman reported on the activities of the Revisionist executive.
The conference decided to strengthen the Revisionist fight for a renewal of the ideology of the Zionist movement. It expressed itself as ready to cooperate with any group that will adopt this ideology.
In appealing to the Jewish people to help them win the coming Zionist Congress, the Revisionists declared that a “continuation of the present policy will destroy the entire movement. The existence of the Jewish Agency in its present form is impossible.”
The conference declared that the coming Congress must find new ways for cooperation with non-Zionists, and that the Agency bodies must be democratically elected at a Jewish Congress to be called for that purpose.
The conference approved the action of the Revisionist executive when negotiating with the Zionist executive in regard to the coming into force of the White Paper.
