Rochester Clothing Workers Get Wage Increase

Clothing workers receiving less than $40 a week will get a 10% increase while workers earning $40 and over will receive an increase of approximately 5%, or an average of four dollars for each week.

More than 13,000 clothing workers benefit by this wage increase announced Sunday by Max L. Holtz, President of the Rochester Clothiers’ Exchange, and Sidney W. Hillman, President of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America.
