Roman Giertych, leader of a political party with ties to anti-Semitism, was named Poland’s education minister. Giertych’s League of Polish Families has its roots in Endecja, the ultranationalist party his grandfather led in the 1930s and which was one of the most anti-Semitic political groups in Europe.
