Romania’s foreign minister said his country is working to come to terms with its Holocaust-era behavior. The Jerusalem Post reported Tuesday that Mihai-Razvan Ungureanu, speaking Monday at Hebrew University’s Vidal Sassoon Center for the Study of Anti-Semitism, said Romania has been “desperately seeking absolution” since survivors began describing their experiences over the past few years.
