The anniversary of the massacre of some 300-odd Italian Jews and non-Jews in the Ardeatine Caves by the Nazis was observed here today at a memorial meeting. A Catholic clergyman and Chief Rabbi Elio Toaff recited prayers for the dead. The British and Soviet Ambassadors and the Israel Minister to Rome attended the meeting.
