Roosevelt Asks Congress for $72,500 to Defray Refugee-aid Expenses

President Roosevelt submitted to Congress today an estimate until the end of this fiscal year of $72,500 for personal services, communication, travel, office rent and other expenses in connection with the United States Government’s refugee-aid project. The appropriation is a part of the supplemental estimate for the State Department.
