Adolph Feldblum, Brooklyn Jewish lawyer, has been appointed by Governor Roosevelt impartial chairman of the dress industry to fill the vacancy caused by the resignation of Dr. N. I. Stone. Mr. Feldman is a director of the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities and chairman of its law committee, a former president of the Hebrew Education Society of Brooklyn and a former director of the Brooklyn Jewish Social Service Bureau and of the Brooklyn Juvenile Probation Association.
Mr. Feldblum’s appointment, the Governor said, is in accordance with the agreement adopted in 1930 by dress industry interests to adjust disputes, and has the approval of the International Ladies’ Garment Workers’ Union, Affiliated Dress Manufacturers, Inc., Wholesale Dress Manufacturers and the Association of Dress Manufactuers, Inc.
