Rosenberg’s Anti-Semitic Rag Froths at Mouth on Birthday

In celebration of the tenth anniversary of its establishment, "Der Weltkampf," Alfred Rosenberg’s own Jew-baiting sheet, in its latest issue, begins a new campaign of villification and lies aimed at the Jews of the world.

This publication, which prides itself on being the oldest of Germany’s anti-Semitic organs and which was founded by Alfred Rosenberg, the arch-enemy of everything Jewish, has been devoting all its columns to Jew-baiting.

A special feature appearing in every issue of this venomous sheet is a section devoted entirely to news about Jews. It bears the heading, "World-Judaizing and Our Defense Against It," and is divided into two parts. The first part, under the caption of "Joyful news," reports anything unfavorable to Jewish interests, new attacks on Jews, or new Nazi anti-Jewish legislation. The second part, entitled "Sad News," reports events favorable to individual Jews or to the Jewish race as a whole.

WHAT GIVES THEM JOY

Here are some examples of the news carried in the "Joyful" column: "From London-The chairman of the London committee for political refugees announces that young Jews from Germany are not wanted there. The sad thing about this is that we have to keep here these buds of the Jewish nation." "From Liverpool-one of the oldest Jewish synagogues of England, dating from 1690, has been burned down by unknown persons. Evidently the friends of ‘El Shaddai’ in England are becoming fewer and fewer."

Among the "Sad" items this anti-Semitic paper reports: "From Italy-Raphael Szafar, representative of the Jewish agency in Warsaw, has been honored by the King of Italy as Knight of the order of Corcha d’Italia. It is painful how ignorant Italian Fascists are of their own dangers." "From Poland-H. Farbstein, a Jew, former member of the Zionist Executive, has been appointed Polish consul at Tel-Aviv. We give the Poles credit, however. Evidently, no Pole wanted to be consul in that garlic-smelling Jew-city."

"EVIDENCE" OF "PLOTS"

Another section, which bears as its heading the German translation of the title of the classical Talmudic work, Shilchan Aruch, is devoted to satirizing any statements appearing in print favorable to Jews. It is preceded by the following introduction:

"The Covered Table: Samplings from the Poison Kitchen of the Powers that Aim to Ruin the World. We especially recommend to our readers to study this section, the purpose of which is to show the world how the Jews are aiming to destroy Western culture. Our readers are requested to co-operate with us and send us in ideas from Jewish writings similar to those we are publishing here."

The "Samplings" which follow and to which half of the paper is devoted cannot be regarded as anything else but the ravings of perverts and fanatics, without a single basis of fact. The Jewish "Sanhedrim" have been in session since the time of Christ, and they have sentenced Hitler, just as they sentenced Christ, to death. The reason why Germany had the inflation in 1921-1923 and has no gold today is that all the Jews of the world have been plotting against Germany for the last fifty years.

In the same tone these ravings go on for pages.
