Twenty-nine Christian clergymen and Jewish rabbis signed the invitation for the service of the Covenant of Peace, to be held at Riverside Church next Thursday evening as a protest against United States naval maneuvers, to begin the following day in the Pacific Ocean.

Speakers will include Rabbi William T. Rosenblum of Temple Israel, who served with the navy during the World War at various stations and on the U. S. S. Wassaic.

The invitation to the service reads in part as follows:

“What will you do if another war starts? This question has concerned many of us who believe that war is a denial of the Christian and Jewish faiths.”
