The appointment of Isaac Rosengarten, editor of The Jewish Forum, as executive director of the Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations of America, was announced today from the office of Rabbi Herbert S. Goldstein, president of the Union. Mr. Rosengarten, who will continue as editor of the Jewish Forum, will immediately launch a nation-wide campaign for the increase of both synagogue and individual sustaining memberships in the Union. The work will be done from the Union Headquarters in the Yeshivah College in New York City and branch headquarters will be opened in other cities as the campaign progresses.
