Chicago’s quota of $35,000 toward a $6,000,000 building fund for the American Church Institute for Negroes was almost reached today when the fund received a gift of $10,000 from Julius Rosenwald.
The money will be used for the erection of a Chicago building at Saint Paul School, Lawrenceville, Va.
